Dilruba’s short story ‘Detached Belonging’ was published in ‘From the Delta’ an anthology from Bangladesh (2006), the Chattahoochee Review (Fall 2008), the Anthology of International Stories from Bangladesh (2009) and Vista in Pakistan(2009); it has also been translated into Persian. ‘War-Child’ is to be included in an anthology of women writers from Bangladesh and ‘The Mosque-Yard Imam’ was published in Shipwrights Review, a literary journal produced by Malmo University, Sweden. ‘Affection’ appeared in Drunken Boat, an international literary journal published by Chicago University, USA, and ‘The Voice of a Cow’ was featured on Asia Writes. ‘The Mosque-yard  Imam’ republished in n Democratic World Magazine, India (2012).  ‘The Theft’ was published in Daily Star, Dhaka (2013)

Her published and unpublished stories are all being used as course material in Lund University Comparative Literature Course. Detached Belonging has been on syllabus – since 07 – at English Department (Södertorn University-College, Stockholm, World Literature Course,  Sharjah University, UAE). It has also been studied at Georgia State University – USA,  Creative Writing Course (2007-2009). Mosqueyard-Imam  studied at Stockholm-Söderton (2008-2012) University-College, Sweden.

Dilruba’s poem ‘SMS’ was anthologised in Kritya, a journal from India. ‘A Homage to My Father’ was published in Holiday, Bangladesh.
